    Arrived at 1 pm on a Thursday and it was fairly empty. There is limited seating and and this was a perfect spot to meet an old friend. The food was good. We had the rotisserie chicken and a side of salad. It's not extraordinary if you regularly have Caribbean food, but it is nice to have a place that serves food that brings you back. The chicken was well season (thank the gods) and perfectly made. The Mori Soñando a sweet drink made of orange juice and condensed milk was okay. I prefer the one my mom makes but that's not to say this one wasn't good. It was good, just not to my liking. I still think you should visit and give their food a try. Would recommend.

    Ever since the original owner Adela passed away, the overall service and the quality of the food has diminished. This is truely noted by their now 'B' rating posted on the window. Yesterday, my family and I went to eat there. Totally disappointed, we had to get up and leave. They sat us down and left us there for over 25 minutes. No water, no service and a sticky table after wiping it down. As previously stated, Adela ran a tight ship. She was a wonderful person. She took pride in her food and more importantly, made sure that everyone was comfortable and served properly. Since her passing last year, the establishment has never been the same. As a result, my family and I will no longer be eating there again.

    Best food and staff within a 20 block radius. Staff takes care of everyone who comes in... best local place. True testament to its reputation....

    It was definitely an experience, you will enjoy this place if you know the dynamics of a large latin family. The food and the service were excellent.

    I LOVE CASA ADELA,, MY FRIENDS MOTHER WAS ONE OF THE TOP CHEFS THEIR.SHE WOULD HAVE CALLED HER SELF A SIMPLE COOK. MY POINT BEING.ITS A VERY CARIBBEAN ATMOSPHERE,,COMFORTABLE,,,GREAT FOOD.NICE PEOPLE. GO ENJOY.
